3 Questions & Answers which are all capturing the essence of future’s e-commerce

At the last Age of Makers: The Future of Commerce event in Warsaw in September 2022, we received more questions than we could answer live. Here are some of the interesting ones that we did not get to during the event.

"We really like the Q-commerce mobile experience which is focused on ease of shopping. Gorillas is a good example of search results/product displayed - we also like how simple it is and the algorithm suggesting to buy products to fill the basket is really well done. Others include Walmart and Ocado – both brands are putting a lot of effort and investment into minimising points of friction and building the basket size." - Guy Keeling VP, Global Ecommerce, Barilla Group

"At Publicis Groupe, a global standards team sits in the media partnership practice to ensure the full weight of the Groupe is leveraged to influence platforms to build safe and welcoming spaces for brands and consumers. As the space accelerates, we stay at the forefront of changes, advising all stakeholders, connecting directly with top leaders of the platforms, as well as modifying investments accordingly." -- Ali Amarsy, SVP, Global Product Lead, Publicis Commerce

"Mobile-first is another frontier for creative design. Limited space may lead brands to perceive it as restrictive, when in fact it’s all about putting a different focus to creativity. Prioritize your stories and let their core functions take center stage – it’s a small change in mindset that will lead to better consumers’ experience on mobile." - Barbara Grabiwoda , Chief Strategy Officer, Publicis Le Pont
